Territory Manager, Eye Care – San Francisco, CA
Responsibilities:
- Cover the San Francisco, CA territory including Hillsborough, San Jose, Palo Alto, and North Fair Oaks, CA.
- Meet and exceed corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with targeted ECP accounts; represent the company’s vision and culture to the Eye Care community.
- Leverage disease-state knowledge, the marketplace, and industry/business trends to manage and pull through business opportunities.
- Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused, patient-centric messages and provide appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieve quarterly and annual business goals while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Partner with field leadership and internal teams to provide customer insights and feedback on strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrate daily culture norms through customer interactions and collaboration.
- Use territory business planning tools to identify additional business opportunities.
- Manage approved resources to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) plus 2+ years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience with a track record in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology (equivalent experience/education considered).
- Live within the geography of responsibility (or within reasonable driving distance).
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel; overnight travel may be needed depending on territory.
- Eye care experience preferred (not required).
- Meet access requirements for target offices and healthcare facilities in the assigned territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.
Compensation:
- Salary range: Professional $100,000–$150,000; Senior $108,000–$162,000 (USD).
