Territory Manager, Eye Care – San Francisco, CA

Key responsibilities:
- The San Francisco, CA territory includes Hillsborough, San Jose, Palo Alto, and North Fair Oaks, CA.
- Meets and exceeds corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develops and maintains strong working partnerships with targeted ECP accounts; represents Viatris’ vision & culture to the Eye Care community.
- Leverages disease-state knowledge, marketplace, and industry/business trends to manage and pull-through business opportunities.
- Delivers MLR-approved, education-focused, patient-centric messages and appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieves business goals on a quarterly and annual basis; drives territory performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborates with internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Provides customer insights and feedback to field leadership/internal partners on strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrates company culture norms through customer interactions and collaboration.
- Uses territory business planning tools to uncover additional business opportunities.
- Manages and uses approved resources to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
- Complies with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies; maintains integrity and professionalism.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of pharmaceutical, medical, or related sales experience; proven track record in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology (combination of experience/education considered).
- Must live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel as required (overnight travel may be needed).
- Eye care experience preferred (not required).
- Meets all access requirements for target offices and healthcare facilities within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.
Compensation:
- Salary range: Professional $100,000–$150,000 USD; Senior $108,000–$162,000 USD.
