Key responsibilities:
- The Phoenix, AZ territory includes Phoenix Metro and southern Arizona.
- Meets and exceeds corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develops and maintains strong working partnerships with targeted ECP accounts; represents Viatris vision & culture to the Eye Care community.
- Uses disease state knowledge, the marketplace, and industry/business trends to manage and pull through business opportunities.
- Delivers MLR approved, education-focused, patient-centric messages and appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieves quarterly and annual business goals; drives territory performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Works collaboratively with internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Provides customer insights and offers feedback on strategic initiatives with field leadership team and internal partners.
- Demonstrates company culture norms through customer interactions, internal collaboration, and support of others.
- Uses territory business planning tools to uncover additional business opportunities.
- Manages and utilizes approved resources to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
- Complies with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies; maintains integrity and professionalism.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience with proven success in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and understanding of medical terminology (combination of experience/education considered).
- Live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driverโs License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel as required; overnight travel may be needed.
- Eye care experience preferred (not required).
- Meet all access requirements for target offices and healthcare facilities within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English (required).
