Territory Manager, Eye Care – Houston South, TX
Key Responsibilities
- Houston South, TX territory includes parts of South Houston, Bellaire, Bay City, Lake Jackson, Missouri City, Pearland, Rosenberg, Sugarland, and Victoria, TX.
- Meet and exceed corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with targeted ECP accounts; represent the company’s vision and culture to the Eye Care community.
- Leverage disease state knowledge, the marketplace, and industry/business trends to manage and drive business opportunities.
- Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused, patient-centric messages and provide appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieve quarterly and annual business goals; drive territory performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Provide customer insights and feedback on strategic initiatives to field leadership and internal partners.
- Demonstrate company culture norms through customer interactions and collaboration.
- Use territory business planning tools to uncover additional business opportunities.
- Manage and use approved resources to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies with integrity and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience; proven success in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and understanding of medical terminology (experience and/or education combinations considered).
- Live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel; overnight travel may be needed depending on territory.
- Eye care experience preferred (not required).
- Meet all access requirements for target offices and healthcare facilities in the assigned territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.
Compensation (as stated)
- Professional: $100,000.00–$150,000.00 USD; Senior: $108,000.00–$162,000.00 USD.
