Key responsibilities for this role include:
- The Dallas, TX territory includes Dallas, Frisco, Plano, Irving, McKinney, Rockwall, and surrounding areas.
- Meets and exceeds corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develops and maintains strong working partnerships with targeted ECP accounts, and represents the vision & culture of Viatris to the Eye Care community.
- Leverages expertise in disease state knowledge, the marketplace, and industry/business trends to manage and pull-through business opportunities.
- Delivers MLR approved, education-focused and patient-centric messages, and provides appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieves business goals on a quarterly & annual basis; drives territory performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Works collaboratively with internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Provides customer insights and offers feedback on strategic initiatives with field leadership and internal partners.
- Demonstrates company culture norms through customer interactions and collaboration across the organization.
- Uses territory business planning tools to uncover additional business opportunities.
- Manages and utilizes approved resources effectively to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
- Complies with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies; maintains integrity and professionalism.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree (or equivalent) and minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience with a proven track record in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and understanding medical terminology (combination of experience and/or education considered).
- Must live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driverโs License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel as required (overnight travel may be needed).
- Eye care experience preferred, but not required.
- Must meet access requirements for target offices and healthcare facilities within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English.
