Key responsibilities:
- The Burbank, CA territory includes Burbank and Glendale, CA.
- Meet and exceed corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with targeted ECP accounts; represent Viatris’ vision and culture to the Eye Care community.
- Leverage disease-state knowledge, marketplace, and industry/business trends to manage and pull through business opportunities.
- Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused, patient-centric messages and appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieve business goals quarterly and annually; drive territory performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Provide customer insights and feedback on strategic initiatives with field leadership and internal partners.
- Demonstrate company culture norms through customer interactions and collaboration.
- Use territory business planning tools to uncover additional business opportunities.
- Manage and utilize approved resources to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience with proven success in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and understanding of medical terminology (combination of education/experience considered).
- Live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Travel required; overnight travel may be needed.
- Eye care experience preferred (not required).
- Meet all access requirements for target offices and healthcare facilities within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English.
