Key responsibilities for this role include:
- The Boston, MA territory includes the Greater Boston Area, Brockton, The Cape, Quincy, Waltham, Fall River, and New Bedford, MA.
- Meets and exceeds corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develops and maintains strong working partnerships with targeted ECP accounts; represents the vision & culture of Viatris to the Eye Care community.
- Leverages disease-state knowledge, the marketplace, and industry/business trends to manage and pull through business opportunities.
- Delivers MLR approved, education-focused and patient-centric messages, plus appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieves business goals on a quarterly & annual basis while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Collaborates with internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Provides customer insights and feedback on strategic initiatives with field leadership and internal partners.
- Demonstrates company culture norms daily through customer interactions and collaboration.
- Uses territory business planning tools to identify additional business opportunities.
- Manages and utilizes approved resources to maximize pull-through on opportunities.
- Complies with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies; maintains integrity and professionalism.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience with a proven track record in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology (experience/education combination considered).
- Must live within territory geography or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Travel required; overnight travel may be needed.
- Eye care experience preferred (not required).
- Must meet access requirements for target offices and healthcare facilities in assigned territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English.
