Territory Manager, Cardiac Imaging & Structural Heart (New York City, NY; Philadelphia, PA; or Washington, DC)
Purpose
- Achieve sales goals in the assigned territory by driving adoption of 2D/4D intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) in structural heart procedures and market share growth.
- Develop the structural heart imaging market by identifying procedural opportunities, expanding ICE adoption into new programs, and transitioning from TEE-dependent workflows to ICE-guided procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospital/Cath lab staff, and key opinion leaders. Act as territory quarterback and indirectly lead a pod (UCASs), partnering with Regional Business Directors.
Functional Responsibilities
- Partner with doctors and Cath lab administrators for equipment evaluations and timely issue resolution.
- Develop and execute selling strategies and strategic sales plans to achieve/exceed objectives.
- Own territory strategy: account prioritization, procedural targeting, and ICE adoption roadmaps.
- Create and communicate tactical/operational plans to UCASs, RBDs, and team members; coordinate UCAS pod activity.
- Demonstrate deep product/procedural knowledge; support new product introductions.
- Share trends/competitive insights; capture and communicate voice of customer to clinical science, medical affairs, marketing, and R&D.
- Use cross-functional business partners to maximize resources and outcomes; communicate business issues/opportunities to next management.
- Partner to identify/resolve case issues; support customer loyalty and business growth.
Qualifications
- BA/BS and 7+ years professional experience.
- 5+ years sales experience in cardiovascular medical devices (cardiovascular/interventional cardiology focus); structural heart products/therapies and cardiac imaging preferred (e.g., TAVI, LAAO, M/T TEER, TTVR, PFO, ASD).
- Documented sales awards/achievements preferred.
- Prior management experience a plus; capital selling experience preferred.
- Breadth/depth relationships with interventional cardiologists.
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills; experience in matrixed organizations; knowledge of healthcare regulations/compliance.
Physical Working Conditions / Requirements
- Exempt role with flexible scheduling.
- Must maintain advanced knowledge; complete company training.
- Valid driverβs license; advanced computer skills; multitask.
- Field-based work (driving/walking/phone/computer); manage multiple projects.
- Travel up to 80%; may occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
