Territory Business Manager (TBM) β€” Acute Care (US)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed territory sales goals and manage to budgets by developing territory-specific strategies aligned to the commercial brand strategy and local market forces.
- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers and key contacts (e.g., surgeons, anesthesiologists, pharmacy directors) in hospitals and ASCs.
- Develop and implement strategies to secure placement of acute care products on hospital formulary and in EMR systems, protocols, and standing orders.
- Deliver compliant, accurate, and on-message sales presentations; customize discussions to customer needs.
- Engage strategic partners to establish long-term relationships.
- Provide clear instructions on safe and effective use of acute care products in and out of the OR, including in-services for surgeons and clinical staff.
- Maintain up-to-date product, disease-state, and competitor knowledge to provide comprehensive clinical information.
- Comply with applicable regulations and Pharma guidelines; complete administrative tasks (including CRM) accurately and on time.

Requirements
- Candidates must reside in the territory.
- B.S. degree in a relevant field highly preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 3+ years of account management experience in medical device and/or pharmaceutical sales targeting surgeons (experience may be considered in lieu); anesthesiologist targeting is a plus.
- Pharmaceutical hospital sales experience with P&T process strongly preferred; experience partnering with pharmacists is a plus.
- Experience selling in orthopedic and general surgery; pain management market knowledge preferred.
- 1+ year of demonstrated experience working alongside physicians and staff in the operating room.
- Ability to analyze business/market drivers and develop/execute/adjust business plans.
- Demonstrated experience getting products into protocols/standing orders and experience with product pull-through.
- Ability to ask strategic questions to identify stakeholder needs and build business plans.
- In-depth knowledge to communicate product value and competently position against competitors.
- Ability to deliver effective sales presentations and retain knowledge of pain management and PONV practices.
- Satisfy reasonable credentialing requirements (e.g., vaccinations/background checks, as applicable).
- Available evenings and weekends; early OR mornings frequently required.
- Full-time field role with 100% customer focus; travel by car/plane; valid motor vehicle operator’s license.

Compensation
- Base salary range: $140,000–$175,000 plus target bonus of $65,000.
