Territory Business Manager (TBM) responsibilities include selling Alkermes products in the Orlando territory and supporting promotional efforts by applying product, disease state, and market knowledge; utilizing resources to educate healthcare providers; and using analytical ability to determine appropriate targets.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Alkermes products, related disease states, and related marketplace products
- Demonstrate strong selling skills using approved sales aids, studies, reprints, and effective communication/listening with targeted healthcare providers
- Gain agreement for increased product use with appropriate patients from target healthcare providers
- Manage territory by identifying/calling on appropriate numbers of healthcare provider targets with required frequency
- Develop, review, update, and maintain healthcare provider target lists using the latest information and data
- Use available resources/programs (samples, Promotional Speaker Programs, etc.) to grow business; discuss territory business with the District Business Leader (DBL)
- Develop business plans as required by the DBL and complete administrative tasks accurately and timely
- Exercise fiscal control of operational expenses (car, gas, office supplies, telephone, postage, lodging, meals, entertainment)
- Work productively with related personnel (other representatives, DBL, RMDs, Marketing, Key Accounts, and headquarters staff)
- Comply with promotional compliance and sample accountability requirements

Qualifications:
Minimum:
- BA/BS required
- 2+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience
- Must live within the geography of responsibility
- Driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to demonstrate or secure appropriate healthcare provider credentialing for facility access

Preferred:
- 5+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience
- Specialty sales experience
- Superior organizational and administrative skills
- Demonstrated past sales performance/success
- Strong analytical, strategic, and influencing skills
- Some overnight travel may be required

Compensation/Benefits:
- Annual base salary: $125k–$155k
- Performance-based sales incentive bonus targeted at $45,000 annually
