Role Summary

Territory Business Manager, Neuromuscular Sales – Denver, CO (territory includes CO, UT, WY & MT). Responsible for executing sales strategies and demand generation to meet regionally focused objectives for the Immunoglobulin (IG) portfolio in the Neuromuscular space. Educate healthcare professionals on diagnosis and treatment of rare neuromuscular conditions, differentiate Takeda’s IG portfolio, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure patient access. Reports to the Region Business Director.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quotas and grow product volume.
  • Conduct customer engagements to deliver sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information, and educate on neuromuscular conditions and Takeda support resources.
  • Understand influence points within offices and how individuals affect diagnosis, treatment, and Rx/referral/order.
  • Participate in community education events and neurology conferences for healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Analyze data to inform sales strategies and build a pipeline of opportunities with territory and account plans.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Patient Services, Alternate Site Team, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access, and National Accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction and pull-through of opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance with promotional and expense policies.
  • Demonstrate patient-centric values and apply PTRB guidance in decision making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Must live within the territory geography.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful relevant healthcare sales experience with increasing responsibility.
  • 18+ years old with valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Willingness to travel ~70% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekend travel; travel for internal meetings and conferences.
  • Authorization and ability to drive a company leased vehicle or rental.
  • Clinical sales background in rare disease, Neurology/Neuromuscular, managing large/multi-state geography, and accountable for own business strongly preferred.
  • Preferred experience in specialty sales (injectables/infusions), specialty pharmacy/distribution, buy-and-bill/access, patient HUB.
  • Experience working across multiple sites of care and product channels (physician offices, infusion centers, hospitals, specialty pharmacies) with stakeholders.
  • Proven launch execution experience for new therapies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong accountability, business acumen, sales process knowledge, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
  • Resilient, adaptable to evolving customer needs, and able to work with urgency to deliver solutions.
  • Strong data analysis for sales strategies and excellent organization/time management.
  • Coachable, transparent, honest, and open to feedback and ongoing development.
