Role Summary

Territory Business Manager, Neuromuscular Sales – Boston, MA. Build sales strategies and demand generation to achieve regionally focused goals for the IG (Immune Globulin) business in the Neuromuscular space within the Boston Territory. Educate healthcare professionals on diagnosis and treatment of rare neuromuscular conditions and differentiate Takeda's IG portfolio. Collaborate with multiple teams and third-party specialty pharmacies to ensure patient access. Reports to the Region Business Director.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quotas and goals through growing product volume.
  • Conduct customer engagements to deliver sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information, and educate on neuromuscular conditions and Takeda support resources.
  • Understand influence points within the office and how you will affect diagnosis, treatment, and the Rx/referral/order.
  • Participate in community education events and Neurology conferences for healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Interpret data for sales strategies and build and document a pipeline of opportunities along with territory and account plans.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Patient Services, Alternate Site Team, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access, and National Accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and pull through of opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance with promotional and expense policies.
  • Embrace patient-centric culture and follow PTRB as a guide in decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree; 5+ years of demonstrated successful relevant healthcare sales experience with increasing responsibility; valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel 70% including overnight and weekends; authorization to drive a company vehicle.
  • Preferred: Clinical sales background in rare disease (Neurology/Neuromuscular), experience in large multi-state geographies; experience in specialty sales (injectables/infusions), specialty pharmacy/distribution, buy-&-bill/access, patient HUB; experience with multiple sites of care and product channels; launch execution experience; proven sales results.
