The Territory Business Manager reports to the District Business Manager and drives product awareness and utilization within a defined territory (Southern CT from Guilford to Greenwich). The candidate is preferred to be located in territory.
Responsibilities:
- Use business planning and local market knowledge to develop sales and customer networks.
- Build strong disease and product knowledge to compliantly promote dermatological products to healthcare professionals.
- Engage physicians and targeted healthcare professionals to deliver clinically relevant information and exceed product goals in line with legal/compliance requirements.
- Use knowledge of the marketplace and reimbursement landscape to prioritize opportunities.
- Use direct selling techniques and market strategies to expand product demand.
- Apply critical thinking and a strategic mindset to sell in a changing healthcare environment and gain customer access.
- Coordinate with field-based personnel to proactively address customer needs.
- Use patient-focused clinical dialogue for total account management and outstanding customer service.
- Develop relationships and maintain an active presence in the dermatology community and related organizations.
- Represent the company professionally, ethically, and compliantly at all times.
Required education/experience/skills:
- 2+ years of proven quota-driven sales experience (preferred: dermatology, medical device, or specialty pharmaceutical).
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- Valid driverβs license and acceptable driving record.
- Demonstrated sustained high performance and learning aptitude.
- Strong customer service urgency.
- Ability to travel as required by territory.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-based culture.
