Position Summary:
Specialty Sales Territory Business Manager (TBM) reporting to the Regional Sales Director to maximize sales of MannKind products within a geographic territory and drive sales growth.

Accountabilities / Primary Responsibilities:
- Achieve territory sales goals in compliance with MannKind policies and FDA-consistent messaging (including disease/competition/product knowledge).
- Deliver effective sales presentations; manage accounts and build customer relationships.
- Maintain budgets/timelines; align territory growth to business strategy using available tactics/resources.
- Translate clinical data into patient-specific product attributes; solve customer challenges.
- Maintain current clinical/industry knowledge and communicate compliantly to healthcare professionals.
- Monitor sales activity, identify growth opportunities, plan call routing, and execute data-based pre-/post-call plans.
- Engage and drive appropriate utilization with relevant specialists and HCPs (e.g., HF, cardiology, nephrology, emergency medicine, advanced practitioners).
- Work with Product Marketing/Management for voice-of-customer insights.
- Maintain technical knowledge via training/publications/networking; complete tasks on time and compliant.
- Fully comply with laws, regulations, Code of Conduct, privacy/data guidelines, and PDMA requirements.
- Participate in meetings/training and represent the company at conventions as requested; overnight travel as needed.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s + 3 years sales OR Associate’s + 6 years sales OR High school/GED + 8 years sales.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; must live within territory boundaries.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- 3+ years in complex/competitive selling; endocrinology and/or nephrology sales experience.
- 3+ years pre-existing Endocrinology/Nephrology relationships in territory.
- Strong knowledge of Type 1/Type 2 diabetes and nephrology treatment guidelines.
- Product launch experience; Medicare experience (plus) including coverage determination facilitation or prior authorization.
- Experience with HUB/specialty pharmacies; healthcare/pharma industry knowledge and understanding of healthcare regulations.
- Clinical selling skills; proven sales growth; self-motivated with accountability; strong planning, judgment, communication, organization, and time management.
