As a Territory Account Manager, you will drive sales and maintain strong client relationships within your assigned territory.
Key Accountabilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets.
- Conduct market research on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Provide customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues.
- Maintain deep product knowledge (features, benefits, clinical value) of radiopharmaceutical products.
- Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to healthcare professionals.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
- Accurately record activities and customer information in Salesforce.com.
- Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
Education & Experience / Qualifications
- 4-year degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of medical, pharmaceutical, or diagnostic sales in hospital/academic settings; experience with grand rounds, tumor boards, P&T committees, and multidisciplinary clinical presentations.
- Proven track record launching new products and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Strongly preferred: Nuclear Medicine, Oncology, or Urology sales.
- Strong understanding of the U.S. reimbursement landscape and healthcare sales processes.
- Skills in developing/executing sales operating plans aligned with corporate goals.
- Project management experience (budgeting, contracting, timeline management).
- Ability to learn and communicate complex clinical/technical information; excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically.
