Technical Sales Specialist (Spatial Biology)
Responsibilities:
- Sell high-end spatial biology capital equipment plus associated services and consumables to biopharma and academic institutes across the Southeast US territory.
- Support discovery, translational, and clinical research programs; achieve assigned territory sales goals.
- Build long-term customer relationships; develop and execute regional/territory/account sales strategies.
- Perform on-site/remote demos and run basic staining assays.
- Present products/applications at conferences; help with booth setup/breakdown; plan customer meetings/seminars.
- Demonstrate technical product/application knowledge; support field feedback; keep customer management database up to date.
- Travel frequently (50β80%); remote employees may be required to travel to Swiss/Bio-Techne sites as requested.
Qualifications & Required/Preferred Skills:
- Masterβs or PhD in Biology/Life Sciences/Bioengineering/Medicine or similar.
- 3+ years technical sales experience in life sciences research.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of IHC, IF, in-situ hybridization, spatial biology, and highplexed spatial analysis.
- Experience with academia/biopharma (immuno-oncology/neurosciences) and solid account management; understanding of spatial biology market.
- Strong communication/presentation skills; proven life science/diagnostics sales track record; proactive/results-driven.
- Valid driverβs license; pass pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record check.
- Fluency in oral/written English.
