Position Summary
The Talent & Development Manager leads key talent programs to support employee development, organizational capability, and an inclusive culture. Hybrid role; onsite 3 days/week.

Responsibilities
- Design, execute, govern, and continuously improve performance management (goal-setting, mid-year checkpoints, year-end reviews).
- Partner with HRBPs and people leaders to embed performance practices (expectations, calibration readiness, manager execution).
- Support talent planning, succession discussions, leadership development, and capability building.
- Own end-to-end new hire onboarding experience.
- Use qualitative/quantitative insights to monitor program effectiveness and improve employee experience.
- Lead learning solution design/delivery (leadership development, manager capability workshops, compliance training, eLearning).
- Apply instructional design/adult learning principles; partner to translate skill gaps into learning pathways.
- Oversee LMS administration/governance (architecture, lifecycle, reporting, learner experience).
- Evaluate learning effectiveness/ROI; iterate for impact.
- Manage/optimize talent systems/tools (HRIS, LMS, performance platforms); partner on workflows and issue resolution.
- Build dashboards/insights for senior leaders; streamline/automate/standardize talent processes.
- Support culture/engagement initiatives; translate engagement data into actions.
- Establish priorities and operating rhythms; lead/contribute to enterprise initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in Talent Management, L&D, or related HR (biotech/life sciences preferred).
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, Business, or related.
- Experience leading talent processes (performance cycles, development, talent reviews).
- Strong instructional design and facilitation.
- Proficiency with HR systems (Workday, LMS), AI, Articulate360, analytics.
- Exceptional project leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Qualifications
- Masterโ€™s degree; SHRM/SPHR/HR certifications preferred.
- Enterprise/multi-function experience in scaling matrixed orgs.
- Biotech/life sciences or regulated environment experience.
- Experience partnering with Director/VP leaders.
- Advanced Workday Talent, LMS, people analytics, executive reporting.
