Role Summary
Talent Acquisition Specialist responsible for full-cycle recruitment within the Protein Sciences Segment, focusing on non-exempt (80%) and exempt (20%) positions across operations, manufacturing, and quality in North America. Hybrid role based in Minneapolis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake sessions with Hiring Managers, review resumes for minimum qualifications, conduct phone interviews, and participate in face-to-face interviews with the hiring team
- Effectively negotiates and extends hiring offers
- Actively source passive candidates using tools such as LinkedIn and Indeed
- Strategize with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to provide market data insights
- Develop internal and external networks to support passive sourcing efforts
- Track and maintain reporting of applicant and position metrics
- Track and manage recruitment agency spend for the assigned business unit
- Implement creative recruitment tactics to attract staff; stay aware of labor and recruitment trends
- Develop best practices for recruitment and retention
- Work within ATS guidelines and manage applicant and candidate activity
- Employ interviewing techniques to assess fit between experience and position
- Develop and maintain contacts with schools, professional organizations, and companies to find and attract applicants
- Performs additional duties as assigned
Education
- Position requires a 4-year degree and a minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience
- Or, High School equivalent with 4+ years of relevant recruitment experience
- Or, an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
