Key Responsibilities
- Lead Data Analysis: Focused on CGT and Biologics category management spend and savings delivery; develop standard processes for gathering inputs, analyzing data, and reporting performance.
- Business Partnering: Build strong stakeholder relationships; collaborate on multi-year strategic and operational plans and drive business outcomes.
- Sourcing Strategy Development: Support development and implementation of sourcing strategies with the business to enable development and commercialization of CGT and Biologics products.
- Risk Mitigation: Assess and mitigate cell and gene therapy supply chain risks; proactively identify disruptions and develop contingency/resiliency plans to ensure continuity of supply.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, external manufacturing, quality control, vendor quality, and regulatory affairs to align sourcing with production schedules, product specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging raw-material technologies; conduct market analysis and supplier assessments to identify opportunities and derisking activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement initiatives to streamline sourcing, enhance efficiency, and drive operational excellence; use analytics and performance metrics to monitor and improve supplier performance.
- Financials: Support annual budget process and provide cost guidance for the Long Range Plan; evaluate BOMs and understand total COGs to identify opportunities and risks.

Knowledge and Skills
- Strong analytical capabilities; expertise with Power BI, Tableau (or similar) to generate data and reports.
- Continuous Improvement tools knowledge (e.g., Pareto Charts, Flow Diagrams).
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead collaboratively across legal, compliance, finance, and other functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to senior management.
- Contract law knowledge (e.g., CDAs, MSAs) and ability to provide risk insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong knowledge of ERP systems and e-Sourcing tools/business intelligence/reporting platforms.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, finance, or supply chain management (preferably biopharmaceutical manufacturing).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, finance, business management, or related field.
- Proven ability to analyze procurement data for trends, cost-saving opportunities, and improvements.
- Proven ability to prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet suppliers, visit manufacturing facilities, and attend industry events.

Work Location/Schedule
- Boston, MA (Seaport area); hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days in office & 2 days remote weekly). Limited travel required.
