Position Summary
Strategic Key Account Director, Nephrology (field-based). Drive product adoption and market access across dialysis organizations and hospital-based dialysis programs; serve as a liaison with priority regional/local accounts and shape execution within nephrology channels.

Responsibilities
- Drive product adoption for targeted dialysis organizations, hospital-based dialysis programs, large physician groups, VA facilities, and IHS by engaging strategic stakeholders (regional VPs, dialysis medical directors, clinic administrators, pharmacy directors, formulary/operational decision-makers).
- Build and maintain account profiles (dialysis treatment protocols, formulary pathways, order sets, pull-through opportunities, clinical/administrative influencers).
- Understand dialysis-administered therapies and how they are ordered/prepared/delivered around in-center dialysis.
- Assess clinical, operational, and economic needs; partner cross-functionally (Managed Markets, Trade/Value & Access, Contracting, Medical, HEOR, Marketing, Sales) to align solutions and optimize access.
- Engage clinic and pharmacy leaders, contracting stakeholders, and clinical staff to support access, education, and adoption.
- Develop and execute account-specific business plans (access, pull-through, educational tactics).
- Coordinate execution with Zone/Area Business Directors and MSLs.
- Partner with National Key Account Director and Managed Markets on contracts, pricing, reimbursement, and economic value propositions.
- Support integration into clinical workflows (dialysis protocols, EMR order sets, standing orders, chair-time scheduling).

Qualifications
- BA/BS with 8+ years working with dialysis organizations/nephrology practices/hospital-based dialysis programs/VA/IHS/IDNs; demonstrated complex account management success.
- Experience with medium-sized independent, hospital-based, and national dialysis providers (strongly preferred).
- Contracting and account management experience (negotiation/implementation).
- Strong reimbursement and payer dynamics knowledge in renal/dialysis, including buy-and-bill and clinic-administered therapies.
- Cross-functional collaboration across marketing, medical, field teams, and market access.
- EMR systems and dialysis unit workflow/order set/protocol development knowledge.
- Renal/nephrology/dialysis therapeutics experience, especially dialysis-administered therapies (strongly preferred).
- Travel >50%.
