Role Summary

Strategic Account Manager- Vaccines. Location: Remote/Field, Raleigh, NC. Join a team protecting half a billion lives each year through next-gen science, mRNA innovation, and AI-driven breakthroughs. Help advance global immunization and manage Sanofi’s largest and most complex vaccine contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Assume the leadership role within assigned accounts, providing overall account leadership to cross-functional internal and external team members as needed. Build a strategic account plan for assigned accounts, and deploy resources within Sanofi to drive value co-creation and meet/exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and sustain trust-based relationships with external stakeholders to generate revenue through partnerships within Sanofi’s largest and most complex customers. Understand the customer’s business, pressures, drivers, priorities, challenges, and opportunities; maintain knowledge of their business model, strategic goals, and healthcare environment.
  • Identify and qualify high-value opportunities, develop growth strategies with customers, align account teams, and foster executive relationships. Lead account planning, strategy, collaboration, resource allocation, and customer engagement as the central point of contact.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years of field sales or account management experience; proven ability to access C-suite to D-suite decision makers; ability to translate market knowledge into strategic plans with internal stakeholders; strong business acumen and strategic thinking; self-directed with excellent execution and planning skills; ability to adapt in a shifting environment; excellent written and oral communication; valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
  • Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree; strong data analytics; experience in Market Access, Pricing, Contracting or Finance; proficiency with MS Office and customer management databases; experience leading teams with demonstrated impact with internal stakeholders.
