Main Responsibilities
- Assume leadership for assigned strategic accounts; build and execute strategic account plans; coordinate internal resources to drive value co-creation and meet/exceed revenue targets.
- Manage and grow trust-based relationships with external stakeholders; develop deep understanding of customer business drivers, priorities, challenges/opportunities, business model, strategic goals, healthcare environment, competitors, and financial levers.
- Identify and qualify high-value opportunities; develop and drive growth strategies and executive relationships; conduct business coaching/strategy sessions to ensure internal alignment and account growth; serve as the central focal point for account planning, strategy, collaboration, resource allocation, and customer engagement.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelorโs degree.
- 5+ years of field sales or account management experience.
- Broad understanding of health system business, decision-making processes, and market trends; proven track record accessing C-suite to D-suite decision makers.
- Proven ability to translate health system market knowledge into strategic plans.
- Ability to execute tactical initiatives, provide ongoing feedback, and prioritize multiple projects.
- Strong field sales experience working with P&T committees and decision makers/influencers in hospitals, health systems, IHNs, and other large organized customers.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking; self-directed, organized, excellent execution/planning.
- Adaptable to shifting environments; excellent written and oral communication.
- Valid driverโs license; eligibility for insurance; ability to safely operate a vehicle.
Preferred
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Strong data analytics.
- Experience in Market Access, Pricing, Contracting, or Finance.
- Proficient with MS Office and customer management databases.
- Experience leading teams with influence/impact with internal stakeholders.
Travel
- Up to 75% travel to customers, conventions, training, and internal meetings.
