Position Summary:
Strategic Account Manager responsible for strategic territory planning, cultivating high-value partnerships across key accounts, and delivering clear, compliant education on approved messaging to healthcare stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Provide solutions as a key business owner of company resources for customers including healthcare providers/organizations, centers of excellence, IDN stakeholders, VA centers, reimbursement personnel, and practice administrators; collaborate to resolve customer inquiries.
- Facilitate clinical dialogue to drive appropriate patient-focused action and engage the full account to identify obstacles.
- Develop a strategic territory business plan by identifying shared priorities and leveraging account knowledge/tactics to drive product demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners on account/territory strategy to improve access to products and services.
- Aggregate customer/market data and insights to apply multiple channels to drive selling engagements.
- Use data-driven prioritization to maximize impact aligned to the strategic plan.

Requirements:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited college/university (required).
- 10+ years of biopharma sales (preferred).
- Valid state driverโ€™s license; pass MVR background check.
- Live within the stated territory.
- Travel up to 100% within geography; drive and/or fly as needed.
- Be in the field five days per week for visits; complete required administrative tasks.
- Proven high performance selling to large accounts/key segments.
- Strong ability to communicate compliant clinical product information.
- Experience in matrixed environments; exposure to reimbursement, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacies, IDNs, and federal channels.
- Knowledge of laws/regulations and industry codes (e.g., PhRMA Code).
- Knowledge of the VA system and rules for conducting business within it.
- Results orientation and strong time management.
- Understanding of case management, market access, reimbursement, and selling a medical benefit product.
- Experience with Hem/Onc, Rheumatology, Transplant, Hospital/IDN, VA, immunology, account strategy, and new product launches.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to prioritize opportunities.
- Track record of sales results (e.g., beat quotas, Presidents Club, awards).
