The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans aligned with sales objectives while complying with all regulatory and compliance standards. The role provides daily in-person consultations with prescribers and key office personnel, develops expertise in prescribing platforms and formulary requirements, analyzes sales data to create performance-driving plans, manages promotional budget funds, collaborates with sales leaders and representatives, and works daily with pharmacies to ensure appropriate application of patient access resources. The position also educates prescribers and staff on resources to optimize access to the product portfolio, builds relationships with HCPs and pharmacies, shares best practices with peers, and participates in company-sponsored events and meetings.

Responsibilities:
- Implement strategic business plans to meet/exceed sales objectives.
- Provide daily in-person consultation to prescribers and office personnel.
- Understand prescribing platforms and formulary requirements.
- Educate others on formulary requirements and ensure compliance.
- Review/analyze sales data and create/implement plans.
- Deploy and manage promotional budget funds.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales reps and leaders in geography.
- Collaborate daily with pharmacies on patient access resources.
- Educate prescribers and staff on access resources.
- Develop and maintain relationships with HCPs and pharmacies.
- Share best practices and proactively communicate with peers.
- Participate in company-sponsored events and meetings.

Required:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical sales; Dermatology market strongly preferred.
- Strong teamwork; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to understand payer requirements and communicate them to peers/customers.
- Understanding of EMR/e-scribing systems.
- Experience educating offices on manufacturer copay programs.

Preferred:
- Experience in patient access or reimbursement capacity.
- Relationships with pharmacies in the geography.
- Masterโ€™s degree or advanced certifications.
- Experience in fast-paced, changing environments.
- Entrepreneurial spirit; ability to manage competing timelines and prioritize.
