The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is a senior, field-based role responsible for enterprise strategy for Syndaxโ€™s most complex academic and integrated health system accounts, including long-range planning, institutional impact, and system-wide pull-through across adult, pediatric, and AYA leukemia care. Reports to the Regional Business Director.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial strategy and long-range account plans for complex academic/integrated health systems.
- Architect system-wide commercial initiatives and regional/local congress strategy with matrixed partners.
- Drive enterprise value via formulary access, inpatient pathway adoption, and standardized use across systems of care.
- Serve as the commercial integrator across Oncology Account Managers, Oncology Clinical Educators, System of Care Directors, and Market Access.
- Expand influence beyond prescribers to institutional leadership and C-suite stakeholders.
- Identify enterprise education gaps and ensure coordinated, compliant commercial pull-through.
- Provide strategic depth supporting jointly assigned OAMs in day-to-day account activities.

Desired Experience/Education and Personal Attributes:
- Proven Account Manager success in complex/large accounts.
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales experience; strong preference for Oncology/Hematology.
- Experience succeeding in a matrixed setting; ability to lead enterprise initiatives.
- Ability to navigate complexities and remove barriers to support patients, caregivers, and HCPs.
- Pharmaceutical marketplace knowledge and understanding of healthcare trends.
- Technologically savvy; use data/advanced analytics to drive results.
- Frequent overnight travel (occasionally weekends); valid driverโ€™s license and reliable personal vehicle.

Location: Field-based.
Compensation: Anticipated annualized salary range $225,000โ€“$255,000, plus equity and annual target bonuses; outstanding benefits program.
