Strategic Account Liaison (Territory: OH, WV, KY and Western PA)

Responsibilities
- Lead site readiness and activation: conduct comprehensive site assessment and preparation so centers can procure and administer the one-time therapy upon approval
- Execute infusion network strategy: build patient access capacity and standard operating procedures for infusions
- Buy and bill support: partner with Patient Access Liaisons on reimbursement, prior authorization, and financial assistance for high-cost therapies
- One-time treatment coordination: develop and manage operational care pathways (EMR development, billing/reimbursement, procurement, patient scheduling, product delivery, infusion administration)
- Assess patient demand to ensure appropriate treatment capacity upon approval and beyond
- Develop and execute account plans emphasizing cell and gene therapy capabilities and readiness
- Build C-level relationships with IDNs, health systems, academic medical centers, community practices, and alternative sites of care
- Identify/qualify treatment sites based on patient population, infrastructure, and clinical expertise
- Serve as primary point of contact for complex, multi-stakeholder implementation
- Navigate market access challenges (payer negotiations, patient access programs, specialty pharmacy partnerships)
- Manage extended sales cycles through first patient treatment
- Coordinate with hub services, specialty pharmacies, and patient support programs; conduct site capability assessments and coordinate provider training
- Work with medical science liaisons, regional business managers, patient access managers, and patient hub services

Qualifications
- 7+ years sales and/or strategic account management with IDNs/health systems (biotech, pharma, or rare disease)
- 3+ years experience with cell and gene therapies or advanced therapeutic modalities
- Proven track record managing high-value, low-volume product launches; buy-and-bill reimbursement and specialty pharmacy network experience
- Experience with FDA-approved cell and gene therapies or other high-cost, buy-and-bill provider-administered therapies
- Previous product launches requiring specialized infrastructure build and center of excellence implementation
- Experience with academic medical centers, healthcare systems, and IDNs
- Experience developing/executing site activation and infusion strategies

Skills
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication across clinical/admin/C-suite stakeholders
- Strong project management; CRM and site readiness tracking tools
- Translate complex scientific/logistical concepts; negotiation skills; travel 60–70% (domestic and international)

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
