Strategic Account Liaison β€” lead development and execution of strategies that support site selection, readiness, and site activation to deliver a one-time CRISPR therapy; engage stakeholders in key accounts for site assessment, secure commitment for site activation, and coordinate care pathways for procurement and administration; help establish an infusion network to ensure seamless patient access.

Responsibilities
- Site Readiness and Activation: Lead site assessment and preparation so treatment centers can procure and administer the one-time therapy upon approval
- Infusion Network Strategy & Implementation: Execute infusion network strategy; build capacity for patient access; develop standard operating procedures for infusions
- Buy and Bill Support: Guide providers through reimbursement, prior authorization, and financial assistance for high-cost therapies (with Patient Access Liaisons)
- One-Time Treatment Coordination: Develop and manage operational care pathways (EMR development, billing/reimbursement, procurement, patient scheduling, product delivery, infusion administration)
- Assess patient demand to ensure appropriate treatment capacity upon and beyond approval
- Develop and execute account plans emphasizing cell/gene therapy capabilities and readiness
- Build and maintain C-level relationships across IDNs, health systems, academic medical centers, community practices, and alternative sites of care
- Identify and qualify treatment sites based on patient population, infrastructure, and clinical expertise
- Serve as primary point of contact for complex multi-stakeholder implementation processes
- Navigate market access challenges (payer negotiations, patient access programs, specialty pharmacy partnerships)
- Manage extended sales cycles from site qualification through first patient treatment
- Coordinate with hub services, specialty pharmacies, and patient support programs to ensure care delivery
- Conduct site capability assessments (capacity/forecasting, cold chain, infusion suite requirements, staff training)
- Coordinate provider training on therapy administration
- Work with medical science liaisons, regional business managers, patient access managers, and patient hub services

Qualifications (About You)
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication across clinical, administrative, and C-suite stakeholders
- Strong project management; coordinate complex site activation timelines
- Experience with CRM systems and site readiness tracking tools
- Ability to translate complex scientific/logistical concepts for diverse audiences
- Strong negotiation skills for site agreements/contracts
- Travel 60–70% (domestic and international)
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred

Required Experience
- 7+ years in sales and/or strategic account management with IDNs or healthcare systems in biotechnology/pharma/rare disease
- 3+ years in cell and gene therapies or other advanced therapeutic modalities
- Proven track record managing high-value, low-volume product launches
- Experience with buy-and-bill reimbursement models and specialty pharmacy networks
- Experience with FDA-approved cell and gene therapies or other high-cost, buy-and-bill, provider-administered therapies
- Previous launches requiring specialized infrastructure build and center of excellence implementation
- Experience in academic medical centers, healthcare systems, and IDNs
- Experience developing and executing site activation and infusion strategies
