Staff Relations Manager

Role: Staff Relations Manager providing expert employee relations guidance to support HR functions within Amgen’s US operations. Responsibilities: advise on performance management, disciplinary actions, conduct thorough investigations, manage workplace conflicts, and handle accommodations and leaves; partner with HR, Legal, and Compliance teams; track case management and lead ER best practices. Requirements: Doctorate or Master’s degree plus 2 years, Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years, or equivalent experience in Employee Relations; strong knowledge of employment laws, investigation skills, and HR policies; proficiency in MS Office, Workday, and ER systems. Preferred: 4+ years ER experience, expertise in employment law, handling terminations, and conducting investigations; ability to navigate complex confidential issues with professionalism.
