Senior Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist (Cardiac Sonographer – Structural Heart)
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical product/technical assistance and training to EP/IC physicians and staff on effective use of AcuNav and SOUNDSTAR catheters.
- Train physicians and EP Lab staff on electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment (e.g., CARTO System, CARTOSOUND, CARTOMERGE, Stockert RF generator) to support advanced ablation/interventional procedures.
- Educate customers with technical/clinical information and in-services; share best practices.
- Use consultative selling to identify account sales opportunities and drive incremental business.
- Maximize case support through planning/scheduling.
- Maintain communication with internal partners (Regional Business Director, Territory Managers, EP CAS, Field Service Engineers/Management) and external partners.
- Stay current on IFU, troubleshooting, and relevant scientific/clinical literature.
- Prioritize responses in high-stress environments; engage in diagnostic dialogue to formulate solutions.
- Mentor new commercial team members as requested; perform other assigned duties.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years relevant professional/military experience.
- 2+ years clinical echocardiography lab experience.
- Maintain RCS or RDCS (adult or pediatric echocardiography).
- Advanced ultrasound/echocardiography and cardiac ablation/cardio imaging knowledge; EP technology knowledge.
- Valid US driver’s license; travel up to 40% (overnight, sometimes on short notice).
- Hospital lab setting/live cases, protective gear; variable hours; may lift up to 60 lbs.
Strongly Preferred:
- EP/Cath Lab or EP/Cardiovascular device industry experience.
- CEPS (IBHRE) or RCES/RCIS certifications; experience with complex technical systems/critical patient care.
- Strong communication, autonomy, critical problem-solving, teamwork; ability to translate data into insights; eagerness to learn.
