As The Senior Ultrasound Clinical Account Specialist (ULS CAS), you provide technical and clinical product support to EP physicians, interventional cardiologists, and EP lab staff for electrophysiology diagnostic and therapeutic catheters and systems (emphasis on AcuNav and SOUNDSTAR) to enable advanced cardiac ablation and interventional procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical product/technical assistance and training on AcuNav and SOUNDSTAR catheters.
- Provide training on electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment (e.g., CARTO System and modules CARTOSOUND, CARTOMERGE, Stockert RF generator) to meet/exceed business goals.
- Educate customers with technical/clinical information and in-service training; share best practices.
- Use consultative selling to identify sales opportunities and create awareness of electrophysiology solutions.
- Maximize customer case support via planning/scheduling.
- Collaborate and maintain communication with internal partners and external partners; develop customer relationships.
- Stay current on IFUs, best practices, troubleshooting, and scientific/clinical literature.
- Respond appropriately in high-stress situations; engage in diagnostic dialogue; formulate solutions.
- Mentor new electrophysiology commercial team members as requested; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years relevant professional work/military experience.
- 2+ years experience in clinical echocardiography lab.
- Maintain RCS or RDCS certification (adult or pediatric echocardiography).
- Advanced clinical ultrasound/echocardiography knowledge; knowledge of healthcare/disease states/therapeutic and institutional trends.
- Valid US driver’s license.
- Ability to travel up to 40% overnight locally/regionally/nationally (sometimes short notice).
- Ability to sit for extended periods, work in hospital lab, attend live cases, wear protective gear; variable hours.
- May need to lift up to 60 lbs.
Strongly Preferred:
- Electrophysiology/Cath Lab or EP/Cardiovascular Device industry experience.
- CEPS (IBHRE) or RCES/RCIS certifications.
- Experience with complex technical systems and/or critical patient care settings.
- Effective communication across patient care team; self-starter autonomy; critical problem solving; receptive to feedback; translates data to actionable insights; hunger for learning.
