Senior Therapeutic Specialist (Liver PBC/HCV) — Mobile, AL territory (Mobile, Dothan, Montgomery, AL; Panama City, FL; Jackson, MS)
Role Responsibilities:
- Represent Gilead’s products/services to a defined customer base; grow sales by consistently achieving/exceeding targets in assigned geography.
- Build relationships with healthcare providers; deliver disease awareness, clinical updates, and education.
- Distill complex clinical information into audience-tailored messages; use strong presentation/communication.
- Develop and execute territory business plan; monitor sales and adjust strategies.
- Maintain product/disease-state expertise and promote appropriate product use.
- Partner with local cross-functional teams and externally with healthcare organizations/partners to enhance reach and drive results.
- Perform required administrative/reporting tasks; manage territory budget.
- Maintain technical/scientific product knowledge; work autonomously to exceed goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Education/experience: HS + 11 yrs OR AA + 9 yrs OR BS + 7 yrs OR MS + 5 yrs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel regularly within territory; complete any applicable onsite healthcare practitioner requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS; 7+ yrs pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare sales.
- Injectable physician-administered product experience; specialty/competitive market success.
- Managed care landscape familiarity; experience selling Buy and Bill.
Skills/Competencies:
- Advanced communication; sales acumen; technical/scientific proficiency.
- Cultural awareness and empathy; comfort engaging in sexual health space.
- Cross-functional matrix collaboration; partnership-building; autonomy.
Compensation/Benefits (explicit): Salary range $133,195–$172,370; may include discretionary annual bonus/stock-based incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
