Senior Therapeutic Specialist (Liver PBC/HCV) β Cleveland East territory
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Gilead products/services to a defined customer base; grow sales by consistently achieving/exceeding targets within the territory.
- Build relationships with healthcare providers; deliver disease awareness, clinical updates, and education.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan; monitor sales performance and adjust strategies.
- Maintain deep product and disease-state expertise; promote appropriate product use in line with Corporate/PhRMA/OIG guidelines.
- Partner with local cross-functional colleagues (e.g., reimbursement, medical scientists) to ensure seamless customer experience (access/acquisition/admin/operational support).
- Collaborate externally with healthcare organizations/partners (including co-promotion) to drive sales.
- Manage required administrative tasks (call/activity reporting, expenses, territory budget).
- Continuously learn and stay current on industry/therapeutic changes.
Skills & Competencies Needed:
- Advanced communication to translate complex clinical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated sales acumen and relationship-building; account management/partnership skills.
- Technical/scientific proficiency; patient-centric approach.
- Ability to lead in a cross-functional matrix; work autonomously; strong compliance/ethical conduct.
Basic Qualifications:
- HS + 11 years OR Associate + 9 OR Bachelor + 7 OR Master + 5.
- Valid driverβs license; ability to travel and meet onsite visitation requirements (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS; 7+ years pharma/biotech/healthcare sales; specialty-market success; injectable physician-administered experience; managed care familiarity; buy-and-bill success.
