Sr. Therapeutic Specialist (HIV Treatment)

Responsibilities
- Represent Gileadโ€™s products/services to a defined customer base; generate and grow sales by achieving/exceeding sales targets in the assigned territory.
- Build relationships with healthcare providers; deliver disease awareness, clinical updates, and education on healthcare changes.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan; monitor sales progress and adjust strategies to meet/exceed targets.
- Maintain deep product and disease state expertise; promote appropriate use of Gilead products in line with Corporate/PhRMA/OIG guidelines.
- Partner with local cross-functional colleagues (e.g., field reimbursement managers, medical scientists, field teams) to support access/acquisition/administration.
- Collaborate externally with healthcare organizations/partners (including co-promotion) to enhance reach and drive sales.
- Use influencing/relationship skills to drive sales; build long-term partnerships.
- Complete required administrative tasks (call activity/customer info, expenses, territory budget) and continuously learn technical/scientific information.

- Advanced communication to distill complex clinical information for diverse audiences.
- Sales acumen; technical/scientific proficiency; cultural awareness (including comfort in the sexual health space).

Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years with BS/BA OR 4+ years with MS/MA.
- Valid driverโ€™s license.
- Ability to travel within the assigned area and meet onsite visitation requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS degree; 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare sales.
- Superior selling skills in competitive markets; proven sales track record (preferably specialty markets).
- Experience with injectable physician-administered products.
- Familiarity with managed care landscape.

- Salary range: $133,195.00โ€“$172,370.00; may be eligible for discretionary bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
