Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative โ Cardiovascular
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive knowledge of Amgen products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
- Serve as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded messages, running planned programs, scheduling and following up on medical educational programs, and meeting/exceeding sales targets via in-person and virtual engagement.
- Manage accounts by tailoring discussions to customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales activity effectiveness and territory performance; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Share best practices and continuously learn/grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
- Sustain product passion across the sales cycle and build the brand with patient impact at the forefront.
Basic Qualifications (Senior Specialty Representative):
- Bachelorโs degree + 3 years sales and/or non-sales-related clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field; OR
- Associate degree + 6 years sales and/or non-sales-related clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field; OR
- High school diploma/GED + 8 years sales and/or non-sales-related clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years sales experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device; product or hospital sales experience in relevant specialties (oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases).
- Local market knowledge; established territory relationships.
- Bachelorโs degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
- Strength in planning/organizing, leveraging business/industry/technical knowledge, communicating with impact, driving for results, and cultivating internal/external relationships.
