Your Role: Veterinary Sales Representative β Sarasota South
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to drive product placement and achieve sales goals in key veterinary hospitals and clinics.
- Lead and influence distributor representatives to align and execute sales strategies.
- Build and maintain partnerships with key decision-makers across independent clinics and corporate veterinary hospitals.
- Serve as the primary liaison for local and state veterinary medical associations (VMAs), coordinating presence at major industry events.
- Plan and execute product launch events and educational meetings with veterinary services to drive market share and adoption.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorβs Degree or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent experience.
- Experience: 4+ years in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales (or equivalent) in a competitive, complex selling environment (e.g., medical device).
- Skills: Proven competitive drive; ability to strategically manage a complex portfolio across diverse customer accounts.
- Requirements: Valid Driverβs License with acceptable driving record; legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Established partnerships with veterinary practices in the Savannah, GA territory.
- Interpersonal skills, self-awareness, and ability to influence without authority.
- Strong strategic planning/execution; sound decision-making in ambiguous situations.
- In-depth knowledge of companion animal market and veterinary products.
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA).
