Responsibilities:
- Define and execute sales targets and strategy for ARCALYST in the assigned geography
- Achieve sales goals and targets
- Proactively lead business planning across the assigned geography
- Provide feedback to improve sales and marketing strategy
- Monitor regional operating and expense budgets to ensure compliance and optimal resource use
- Partner with Regional Sales Directors to develop relationships with Thought Leaders and key institutions
- Translate corporate objectives, business insights, and analytics into specific, measurable action plans for direct reports
- Track, monitor, and report on sales performance and progress
- Evaluate direct report performance with clear expectations and behavior-based feedback
- Foster collaboration across internal cross-functional stakeholders
- Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies governing Kiniksa activities
- Travel weekly (by air or car)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelorβs Degree required
- 10+ years leading pharmaceutical/biotechnology sales teams, including 5+ years in second-line leadership
- Cardiology experience strongly preferred; rare disease experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of specialty pharmacy dynamics (required)
- Experience with injectables strongly desired
- Proven track record exceeding financial/quantitative and qualitative targets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment
- Marketing/Sales Operations or other support-function experience is a plus
- Excellent reimbursement landscape and healthcare environment trends knowledge
- Excellent communication; ability to translate strategy into execution
- Understanding of external laws, codes, and company policies applicable to the healthcare industry
Geography: Central
Compensation/Benefits: Base pay plus a Sales Incentive plan; sales pay range $305,000β$340,000 USD
