Responsibilities:
- Lead assay development, validation, optimization, and transfer processes using advanced methodologies such as HPLC, UPLC, UV spectroscopy, and other techniques.
- Review and approve new test procedures and assays to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
- Facilitate assay transfers from R&D to business partners and organize analytical assay transfers both internally and externally.
- Drive technical troubleshooting, problem investigation, and resolution for QC chemistry-related challenges.
- Review technical reports, protocols, and documents for regulatory compliance and scientific integrity.
- Mentor and train team members on systems, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications / Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HPLC, UPLC, and UV spectroscopy.

Skills / Preferred:
- In-depth expertise with HPLC-based assays, including experience with UPLC and UV spectroscopy.
- Hands-on experience working with AAV (adeno-associated virus).
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to clearly present complex scientific concepts.
- Strong adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- PhD in a relevant field (strongly preferred).

Salary Range (annually):
- $78,700.00 - $128,700.00
