Job Duties:
- Lead complex process sustaining projects and improve drug products, device, and packaging related projects at the Watertown, MA manufacturing facility.
- Apply process improvements, equipment design, layout plans, equipment testing, data analysis, and report writing to resolve issues and improve manufacturing efficiencies.
- Collaborate with internal R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams, as well as external vendors/suppliers, to deliver equipment according to project timelines.
- Supervise one Process Engineer I.
- May work remotely on occasion with prior supervisor approval.
- Salary range: $142,000 to $180,250 per year.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, plus 5 years of related experience in the medical device and/or pharmaceuticals industry, including:
- 4 years improving manufacturing processes; and
- 2 years using AutoCAD and/or SOLIDWORKS to design fixtures supporting manufacturing.
- OR Master’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, plus 2 years of related experience, including:
- 2 years improving manufacturing processes; and
- 1 year using AutoCAD and/or SOLIDWORKS to design fixtures supporting manufacturing.
