Specific Education & Experience Requirements:
- Advanced degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP/PA) required; or BS in pharmacy or BS/MS nursing with varying levels of clinical and/or industry experience.
- At least 5 years clinical practice experience (relevant experience).
- Clinical practice experience within therapeutic area of interest desirable.
- Industry experience desirable.
- Well-developed experience preparing and delivering presentations is required.
- Experience in the management or investigation of clinical trials is required.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Clinical patient contact experience required.
- Respond to clinical inquiries regarding marketed or developmental Gilead products.
- Develop and present complex scientific/clinical data for these products.
- Identify and develop regional/national opinion leaders; train Gilead approved speakers via personal contacts and on-site visits.
- Establish relationships with opinion leaders, clinical investigators, and providers (academic and non-academic).
- Provide sales force training at national and regional levels.
- Work on Gilead Phase IV program with investigators and internal personnel.
- Select sites for Phase IV and other clinical trials.
- Anticipate and resolve complex field obstacles collaboratively.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Clinical Research, Global Safety, and Medical Communication.
- Utilize scientific resources for impactful presentations in varied settings.
- Travel frequently to appointments, meetings, and conferences (occasionally with short notice).

Skills/Requirements:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Fully cognizant of relevant complex scientific data and complex regulatory requirements for field-based personnel.
- Committed to continuing education.
- Ability to work with overlapping teams (national MS team, regional sales team, national accounts, etc.).

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $191,250.00 - $247,500.00.
- May be eligible for discretionary annual bonus and discretionary stock-based long-term incentives; paid time off; benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
