Specific Education & Experience Requirements:
- Advanced degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP/PA) required; or BS in pharmacy or BS/MS nursing with relevant clinical and/or industry experience.
- At least 5 years clinical practice experience (within therapeutic area of interest desirable; industry experience desirable).
- Well-developed experience preparing and delivering presentations is required.
- Experience managing or investigating clinical trials is required.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Clinical patient contact experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Full cognizance of complex scientific and regulatory requirements for field-based personnel.
- Commitment to continuing education.
- Ability to work across overlapping teams (e.g., national MS team, regional sales team, national accounts).
Specific Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to clinical inquiries about marketed or developmental Gilead products.
- Develop and present complex scientific/clinical data.
- Identify/develop regional/national opinion leaders and train approved speakers (personal contacts and on-site visits).
- Establish relationships with opinion leaders, clinical investigators, and providers.
- Provide sales force training at national and regional levels.
- Work on Phase IV program (collaborate with investigators and internal teams); select sites for Phase IV and other clinical trials.
- Anticipate and resolve complex field obstacles collaboratively.
- Collaborate with Gilead personnel (Sales, Marketing, Clinical Research, Global Safety, Medical Communication) and advise others.
- Travel frequently to appointments/meetings/conferences.
Compensation & Benefits (as stated):
- Salary range: $191,250.00β$247,500.00; may include discretionary bonus and long-term incentives; paid time off; company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
