Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory strategic and tactical plan aligned with medical/scientific needs.
- Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key Thought Leaders and stakeholders to drive disease awareness and (as applicable) product acceptance.
- Facilitate collaboration with targeted thought leaders via one-on-one interactions, small-group discussions, and presentations.
- Drive clinical trial execution at study sites (site identification/evaluation/training, recruitment, participation at Investigator’s Meetings) in partnership with Clinical R&D, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and Program Management.
- Document and continuously communicate field medical insights to internal stakeholders.
- Serve as a reliable, trusted medical/scientific resource; build deep technical and clinical expertise across therapeutic areas.
- Provide scientific support for congresses/advisory boards and train internal colleagues.
- Cross-functionally support product strategy alignment; provide medical input to interdepartmental projects and clinical education when needed.
- Plan/attend select national/regional cardiology and rheumatology meetings; summarize key findings.
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from HCPs (accurately and timely).
- Comply with applicable guidelines; manage annual expenses within budget; document activities accurately.
Standout Skills:
- Cardiology, Rheumatology, or Immunology experience.
- Excellent communication/presentation; biologic immunotherapy experience.
- Experience in rare diseases and orphan drug launches.
Qualifications:
- MD, PharmD, PhD, DO, NP, PA, MS-CGC, or other advanced scientific degree + 3+ years relevant industry/field medical/clinical experience (preferably 1–3+ years MSL).
- Strong compliance/ethics, relationship-building, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly; travel up to 75%.
- Preferably live in CA or TX.
Pay Range: $205,000–$250,000 USD
