What You Will Do
- Be a credible medical/scientific expert engaging with Key Medical Experts (KMEs) and HCPs to improve confidence in clinical decisions regarding disease state and Biogenโs products.
- Build deep, strategic, long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders as a partner.
- Be responsive and solutions-driven; engage often and serve as a conduit to medical community leaders.
- Participate in projects/initiatives aligned to US Medical strategy, objectives, and tactics.
- Drive medical excellence performance goals; deliver against KME engagement plans; capture and report KME/HCP medical insights using Veeva.
Who You Are
- A scientific/clinical professional with passion for science and deep knowledge; interested in healthcare and business opportunities; focused on solving critical scientific and business challenges.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree required; Doctoral level (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP) preferred.
- For Senior MSL: minimum 5 yearsโ experience as a (Sr) Medical Science Liaison or similar pharma/biotech role.
- Must reside in the territory: Western PA, WV, OH, MI, IN, KY.
- Effective communication; listens with empathy and adjusts to audience.
- Comfortable with technology/digital tools.
- Accountable to qualitative/quantitative goals and KPIs.
- Ethical understanding of industry rules.
- Travel at least 60% (overnight and occasional weekends).
- 18+ with valid driverโs license and acceptable driving record; ability to drive company leased vehicle/rental.
Preferred Skills
- Therapeutic area clinical experience and subject matter expertise.
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS) expertise highly preferred.
