What You Will Do
- Be a credible medical/scientific expert who engages Key Medical Experts (KMEs) and HCPs to increase confidence in clinical decisions regarding disease state and Biogen products.
- Build deep, strategic, long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a “partner in the trenches”: responsive, frequent engagement, and solutions-driven conduit to medical community leaders.
- Engage in projects/initiatives aligned to US Medical strategy, objectives, and tactics.
- Drive qualitative and quantitative medical excellence goals; deliver against KME engagement plans; navigate office resources with field/non-field colleagues.
- Capture and report KME/HCP medical insights using Veeva with consistency and accuracy.

Who You Are
- Scientific or clinical professional passionate about science with deep scientific knowledge; collaborates to solve scientific and business challenges.

Required Skills
- Advanced scientific/clinical degree required; doctoral level (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP) preferred.
- For Senior MSL: at least 5 years’ experience as a (Sr) Medical Science Liaison or similar pharmaceutical/biotechnology role.
- Reside in the territory: Western PA, WV, OH, MI, IN, KY.
- Effective communication; empathy and audience-appropriate messaging.
- Digital potential: comfort with technology/tools and willingness to learn.
- Accountability for goals, metrics, and KPIs.
- Ethical understanding of industry rules.
- Travel at least 60% (overnight; occasionally weekends).
- 18+ with valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to drive company leased vehicle/rental.

Preferred Skills
- Therapeutic area clinical experience/subject matter expertise.
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS) expertise highly preferred.
