Sr. Medical Science Liaison, IgG4 - Rare Disease - Lower Plains (NE, KS, MO)

Territory: Lower Plains (NE, KS, MO)

What You Will Do
- Serve as a scientific liaison to the medical/scientific community; establish, develop, and maintain relationships with prominent experts and clinicians throughout the US.
- Network and partner with external customers (medical thought leaders, academic institutions, large group practices, medical directors, managed care decision makers, pharmacy directors) in alignment with compliance/legal/regulatory guidelines.
- Understand and communicate scientific/medical information and the products’ commercial value to medical and other key internal/external audiences.
- Work in a self-directed manner; obtain, integrate, and communicate customer feedback.
- Match customers’ unmet needs with internal resources.
- Collaborate across functions to identify opportunities addressed via scientific/medical/health economic communications.
- Identify potential new speakers and train on scientific content for sponsored speaker programs.
- Participate in national/regional conferences to support Medical/Clinical strategy, gain competitive information, and maintain key relationships.
- Collaborate with medical affairs and clinical development on external research collaborations and facilitate IITs and company-sponsored trials.
- Monitor competitive environment and provide feedback to senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate degree & 2 years of Medical Affairs experience, OR Master’s & 6 years, OR Bachelor’s & 8 years.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills
- Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O. (other doctoral degrees considered)
- 2+ years in a medical science liaison role in biotech/pharma
- Exceptional oral/written communication and interpersonal skills (ability to network)
- Travel up to 60%; may need up to 15-hour days due to travel
- Ability to learn new business applications (e.g., PC, iPad)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Professional, proactive demeanor; strong written/verbal communication
