About The Role
Responsible for driving operations associated with the Medical Marketing teamโs activities, including enhancements based on stakeholder and market insights; provides analytical guidance to measure/monitor Medical Marketing programs (including peer-to-peer educational programs and conference activities); leads strategic ad hoc projects.
Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)
- Lead operational processes for P2P programs: identify gaps, set priorities, and streamline for efficiency.
- Drive P2P system enhancements using customer/market insights (e.g., industry benchmarking).
- Develop the P2P Quarterly Business Review (QBR) Operations section (business results and SLA performance).
- Monitor and evolve Power BI P2P reporting tools for P2P metrics.
- Lead bi-weekly Marketing/Compliance meetings to align on process changes and resolve issues.
- Develop/manage processes to measure key congress activity metrics.
- Manage Speaker Network Portal and Speaker Select Portal (legal-only content change review).
- Serve as SME/single point of contact for P2P programming metrics and analytics.
- Monitor P2P agency partner SLAs; manage quarterly manual audits; monitor dashboards; present results.
- Monitor speaker cap report; respond to Compliance requests.
- Manage agency partner business operating rules and field user guide with Legal/Compliance.
- Primary contact for Field Operations and SOSL; manage speaker travel deviation requests.
- Own/manage Medical Marketing agency partner Analytics Team.
- Manage marketing programs budget line item; support expense/timing targets.
- Contribute to annual and tactical brand planning.
- Work with Legal/Compliance to ensure adherence to guidelines.
- Develop/present Phase II/III Field Sales Training P2P program content.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences (or similar) AND 8+ years commercial/marketing experience in biotech/pharma OR MBA/other Masterโs preferred AND 6+ years related experience.
- Strong pharma marketing operations knowledge, including regulatory requirements for promotional materials.
- Proficiency with Veeva Vault and Power BI (or related).
- Experience with multi-channel marketing campaign management systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects; strong organization.
- Strong critical thinking/analytical skills; excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively in meeting settings; strong verbal/written communication.
- Ability to build relationships; manage multiple projects/vendors.
- Strong process/project management/facilitation skills across cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution.
