Sr. Marketing Manager, Robotics β Innovation Lead (Robotics Innovation Lead)
Responsibilities Include
- Shape long-term innovation strategy, roadmap, and portfolio for robotic-assisted surgery.
- Identify disruptive technologies, unmet needs, and market opportunities; translate into growth strategies.
- Lead technology scouting, surgeon Voice of Customer initiatives, and market assessments for platform investments.
- Define and maintain multigenerational product/technology roadmaps.
- Develop Target Product Profiles, business cases, and strategic investment recommendations.
- Drive cross-functional innovation programs from concept/prototyping through global commercialization.
- Partner with Engineering, R&D, Clinical, Finance, Business Development, and Strategy on technologies, partnerships, and M&A.
- Build alignment across global matrix organizations; advise senior leadership.
- Mentor/develop team members and foster a culture of innovation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelorβs degree required; postgraduate preferred.
- 10+ years in Marketing, Product Management, Strategy, Innovation, Engineering, or related.
- Medical Devices and Orthopaedics (Knee Arthroplasty), plus Robotics/Digital Surgery/Surgical Navigation experience.
- Proven track record in product strategy, innovation roadmaps, technology portfolios, and business cases.
- Ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives through commercialization in a matrix.
- Strong strategic/analytical/commercial acumen; autonomy; exceptional communication/influencing.
- Ability to work in cadaver lab and operating room environments.
- Preferred: surgeon advisory boards/customer engagement/innovation governance.
- Preferred: Digital Health, Software, AI/ML, and Data Analytics.
Preferred skills: Brand marketing, business alignment/storytelling, cross-functional collaboration, customer intelligence, data analysis/decision-making, digital strategy, financial analysis, go-to-market, market research, program & product portfolio management, strategic thinking.
