Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager, US Medical Learning - IMM supports field medical teams (Medical Science Liaisons/βMSLsβ) by driving scientific exchange and collecting timely insights to create measurable medical impact on patient outcomes.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, coordinate, and update FM new hire, disease state, product and data onboarding; align with WW Medical Learning, WW Commercialization Learning, and US FM/HOM teams.
- Ensure launch readiness of FM through innovative learning design.
- Coordinate Field Readiness Validations (logistics).
- Ensure learning solutions align with therapeutic area strategies, communication priorities, scientific narratives, and core competencies.
- Evaluate scientific learning materials/programs and update based on stakeholder input.
- Select outside speakers/consultants for TA-related medical topics.
- Design training sessions using Adult Learning Principles; protect field time.
- Coordinate training logistics for BMS scientific data releases at major US congresses.
- Create/adapt internal materials and tools to help US FM deliver product information and data to HCPs.
- Incorporate innovation/technologies into learning solutions.
- Identify efficiencies for content development with partner groups.
- Coordinate training for US FM teams supporting priority tiered clinical trials with Medical Excellence, WW Medical Learning, US FM Leadership, and R&D.
Other Responsibilities:
- Conduct business in accordance with BMS values; complete SOPs/training; coordinate commercialization matrix partners.
- Manage vendors/budgets; comply with procurement SOPs.
- Demonstrate flexibility/resilience; manage and maintain training materials on BMS platforms.
- Attend key live FM meetings (including major US congresses); participate in on-the-job training.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Advanced degree required: MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, PhD, APN/NP, PA, MS (MS strongly preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years pharma/biotech experience (fellowship preferred).
- 1+ years TA experience (field, training role, or fellowship preferred).
- Immunology or Pulmonology experience strongly preferred.
- Public presentation experience.
- Exceptional organizational/planning skills; cross-functional and cross-geography interaction.
- Prioritize under tight deadlines; strong written/interpersonal communication.
- Adult learning principles and effective learning solution design.
- Self-starter; emotional intelligence and positive attitude; results-oriented.
- Ability to manage complex projects with minimal direction.
- Proficiency: Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), LMS/LXP, and AI apps (ChatGPT/MS Copilot).
- Ability to travel for multiple meeting engagements.
