Sr. Manager, Rebates β Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day Managed Care Commercial and Medicare Part D rebate operations: customer invoice review, dispute resolution, payment validation, operational controls, and on-time/accurate rebate payments.
- Support rebate operations, projects, and cross-functional initiatives with accountability for timelines, quality, controls, and outcomes.
- Use reporting, claims analysis, data mining, and systems fluency to identify trends, root causes, payment risks, operational gaps, and process improvement opportunities.
- Communicate clearly with internal partners, senior leaders, external customers, and vendors to align on issues and drive timely resolution.
- Oversee customer submission review/validation, exception resolution, and rebate payment processing for accuracy, timeliness, and contractual compliance.
- Ensure compliant rebate operations by following program rules, contractual requirements, controls, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide coaching and guidance to strengthen analytical judgment, accountability, and end-to-end problem-solving.
- Support end-to-end issue resolution and product launches from a Managed Care perspective.
Qualifications
- Basic: Bachelorβs + 8 years OR Masterβs + 6 years OR PhD + 2 years.
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication; manage competing priorities in high-volume, deadline-driven environments; strong analytical/problem-solving and risk judgment.
- Influence outcomes without direct authority; experience with rebate operations/processing/claims analysis/contract administration; proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Model N preferred.
