Position Summary:
Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) is a subject matter expert on access and reimbursement for FILSPARI (sparsentan), providing remote education and case-specific support within an assigned geography to internal and external stakeholders (including HCPs and sales force).

Responsibilities:
- Serve as key contact for patient access and reimbursement in assigned geography.
- Manage FILSPARI onboarding from Patient Start Form (PSF) submission through REMS enrollment to reimbursement.
- Educate physicians/practices on PSF completion, REMS enrollment, prior authorization, appeals, and reimbursement medical policy steps.
- Monitor cases through onboarding; identify and resolve complex access/reimbursement issues.
- Assist with missing PSF/REMS information; coordinate with Hub and REMS Administrator to clarify required details.
- Resolve access issues (prior authorizations, appeals, denials, letters of medical necessity, REMS) and prevent future reimbursement hurdles.
- Partner with reimbursement stakeholders (specialty pharmacy, sales, HCP office, REMS administrator) to move patients through reimbursement.
- Provide regular case status updates; log calls/notes daily in a standardized platform.
- Lead weekly case status update meetings with sales team/leadership.
- Identify regional reimbursement trends and develop quarterly business plans; educate internal and external stakeholders on payer changes.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance.

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (related field) required (or equivalent combination considered).
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/health industry working with Hubs, payers, HCPs, or related area.
- 3+ years reimbursement/access/case management experience.
- Specialty pharmaceutical, nephrology, rare disease, and REMS experience preferred.

Additional Skills/Experience:
- Access complexities for new-to-market medications.
- Prior account management/complex accounts (payer landscape; government payer/VA).
- Specialty pharmacy/distributor experience (buy and bill).
- Strong relationship-building; deep understanding of commercial and government reimbursement (e.g., Medicare Part D, VA).
- Knowledge of benefit verifications, prior authorization, appeals, denials, letters of medical necessity, pre-determination.
- Proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint; ability to resolve issues/educate virtually.
- Strong organization, multitasking, attention to detail; excellent communication.
- Field-based: live in territory or immediate adjacency; travel up to 35%; essential ability to perform face-to-face/onsite work and meet credentialing requirements.

Compensation:
- Target base pay range: $162,000–$211,000.
