Position Summary:
Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) for FILSPARI (Sparsentan), remote in assigned geography, providing education and case support to HCPs and sales.
Responsibilities:
- Act as key contact for patient access and reimbursement during FILSPARI onboarding (from PSF submission through REMS enrollment to reimbursement).
- Educate physicians/practices on PSF completion, REMS enrollment, prior authorization, appeals, and reimbursement policy steps; monitor case progress.
- Resolve complex access issues (missing info on PSFs/REMS forms; prior auth, appeals, denials, letters of medical necessity, REMS) with Hub and REMS Administrator partners.
- Partner with reimbursement stakeholders (specialty pharmacy, sales, HCP offices) to communicate challenges and ensure patient progression.
- Provide sales-force case status updates (logging calls/notes in a platform; lead weekly case meetings) and coordinate with stakeholders to move cases forward.
- Identify regional access/reimbursement trends and develop quarterly plans; support and educate HCP offices on updates.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred):
- Bachelorβs degree in related field (or equivalent education + experience).
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/health industry working with Hubs, payers, HCPs (or related).
- 3+ years reimbursement/access/case management.
- Preferred: specialty pharmaceutical, nephrology, rare disease, REMS experience.
Additional Skills/Experience:
- Experience managing new-to-market access complexities; complex account/payer landscape experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and government reimbursement (e.g., Medicare Part D, VA); ability to educate on benefit verification, PA, appeals, denials, LOMN, pre-determination.
- Proficiency with basic Excel/PowerPoint; strong communication, organization, multitasking; relationship building.
- Field-based: live in territory/immediate adjacency; travel up to 35%; face-to-face/credentialing ability as required.
